With the tightening of the Climate Protection Act, the German government has anchored the goal of greenhouse gas neutrality by 2045. By 2030, emissions are to be reduced by 65 percent compared to 1990 levels. It is therefore immensely important to save greenhouse gases efficiently and effectively. In practice, however, savings potential often remains untapped, as the development of a systematic approach poses major challenges, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises (SME).
The KliMaWirtschaft project offers concrete help for precisely this purpose. Fraunhofer IPK and Bundesverband Der Mittelstand. BVMW support small and medium-sized enterprises in significantly reducing CO2 emissions by means of comprehensive climate protection management, leading to a systematic approach to doing business in a more climate-friendly way. The offer is free of charge and is aimed at companies of any sector and size, regardless of their experience with active corporate climate protection.
The KliMaWirtschaft project includes the following elements:
- Three-part workshop series
- Telephone consultation and information material
- Exchange and networking
- Online toolbox for customized climate protection measures
- EMAS Workshop of the European Union
