Basics of Benchmarking

Inhouse-Seminar

Benchmarking projects achieve the highest potential for improvement when a competent project group from various specialist departments and hierarchical levels learns about excellent methods and practices in other companies and is actively involved in adapting and implementing them in its own company. Based on this experience, we recommend the targeted and project-related training of benchmarking teams. According to the Benchmarking Code of Conduct, this is also a central prerequisite for successful benchmarking projects.

The one-day seminar is aimed at participants who wish to familiarize themselves with the methodology of benchmarking in order to carry out their own projects. Based on the 5-phase model of the Information Center Benchmarking (IZB) at Fraunhofer IPK, seminar participants will be introduced to the procedure in theory, practical examples and in-depth exercises.

The seminar is held both on the premises of the Benchmarking Information Center at the Production Technology Center Berlin and in-house at companies or at desired seminar locations.

For in-house seminars, we offer a consultation in advance in order to consider the objectives of your company in detail in the seminar concept.
