Industrie 4.0 Transferzentrum

Hands-on industry-oriented research

For well over a decade, digitally integrated production has been the central research focus at Fraunhofer IPK. With the opening of the Industrie 4.0 Transferzentrum Berlin, the institute once again underlines its capabilities in the development of technologies for digital transformation. Starting in September 2019, interested parties from industry, science and politics can learn about the current state of research in the new Transfer Center.

Solutions of different technology maturity levels are being presented. This makes the Transfer Center both a showcase and a vision of the future. It provides insights into the entire spectrum of industry 4.0 research at Fraunhofer IPK.

Research for digitally integrated production at Fraunhofer IPK is always centered on humans first. For this reason, technologies that make life easier for workers and make intuitive control of software-based systems and robots possible is being shown.

Visitors who want to find out about intelligent networking along the entire value chain will get their money's worth just as much as those who are looking for solutions to singular problems in the digital transformation of their company.
