Precision Manufacturing: Customized Solutions

Whether in tool and mold making for series and mass production or for direct manufacturing of microcomponents and microstructured components – as a research service provider, Fraunhofer IPK is prepared for a wide variety of tasks. Our range of services includes developing special technological solutions and production facilities as well as creating entire process chains. Thanks to excellent recourses, from personnel, machines and measuring devices to software tools, we can offer holistic solutions based on specialized knowledge. In addition to ultra-precision, high-precision, EDM and laser material processing laboratories, our Application Center for MicroProduction Technology AMP features an injection molding machine and modern measuring technology for surface and machine assessment. Thanks to our network of partners in both science and industry, we can provide R&D solutions that are systemically and systematically sound.
