Products are becoming increasingly complex, with extensive software functions playing an ever greater role in connection with shorter product life cycles, both in development and in production.
At the same time, coordination between experts from different disciplines is becoming more important than ever. To ensure that companies can develop and manufacture products efficiently and smoothly, all systems involved must be fully integrated.
Model-based approaches, such as Model-based Systems Engineering, or MBSE for short, extend the classic systems engineering approaches and support multidisciplinary development projects. MBSE helps to design, simulate, validate, verify and certify complex products at an early stage. Cross-domain system modeling and analysis techniques are used for efficient development and improved product quality.
